The ancient medieval city of Lucerne and the popular resort of Interlaken are the destinations for this 9-day itinerary. A Swiss Pass is included, allowing you to make the most of the extensive Swiss Travel System.

Both of these destinations stand on lakes, and the Swiss Pass is valid on lake steamers as well as the buses and trains, so you really can make the most of your time in Switzerland.

Lucerne and Interlaken are linked by the spectacular Brünig Pass - perhaps not the best known scenic rail journey in the country, but easily the equal of some of its more illustrious peers, and we have also included a journey in the panoramic coaches of the Golden Panoramic Express from Interlaken to the shores of Lake Geneva.
