Fly out to Australia, with a stopover in Singapore to sample the delights of this melting-pot of modern Asia. Arriving in Darwin at the northern tip of Australia, you join The Ghan travelling north to south via Alice Springs to Adelaide. After a couple of nights in the grand old lady of Australian cities, join the Indian Pacific on its epic east-west journey to Perth.
