Sweden

Although Sweden is Europe's fourth largest country and nearly twice the size of the UK, it remains relatively unknown to British visitors, especially outside of its vibrant capital, Stockholm. Much of Sweden is very sparsely populated, especially in the north, where endless pine forests are inhabited by elk, ore miners and the indigenous Sami peoples. In the south, a varied landscape of forests, lakes, pastoral farms and rugged coasts tempts the visitor to linger and discover the charms of this delightful country.
