United States of America

The United States of America is, for better or worse, undoubtedly one of the strongest influences on our world today, and through Hollywood, television and music it can sometimes feel almost as familiar as home - whether it be the white picket fences and clapboard churches of New England, the bustle and commerce of New York and Chicago, the glamour of California or the grandiose, awesome scenery to be found across this huge country. Americans may have largely abandoned the rails for the purposes of getting from A to B, but the epic coast to coast journeys on storied trains such as the California Zephyr, the Coast Starlight or the Sunset Limited are still some of the best ways to see the USA from ground level.
