Discover Poland

14 days from £2115 per person.

(based on departure 4 June 2010)

Visit two of Poland’s best known cities; the imperial capital of Warsaw, where the architecture is a testament to the past and the ancient city of Krakow, with over a thousand years of history.

Your discovery of Poland begins with an overnight stay in Cologne, at the 5* Dom Hotel, situated within walking distance of the railway station.  After a relaxing evening, you travel onwards to Germany’s capital, Berlin.  You stay two nights in the 4* Hotel Residenz and your days are free to wander around the city.  Take a stroll down Unter den Linden, marvel at the Brandenburg Gate or simply browse amongst the fashionable boutiques. From one capital to another, the next stop on your Discover Poland tour is Warsaw.  After much of the city was destroyed during the Second World War, the city has now been restored to its imperial glory, and one such example of architectural splendour is the 4* Polonia Palace Hotel, your base for the next four nights.  On your first day in Warsaw, you enjoy a guided tour of the city with your very own individual guide.  Highlights include Warsaw’s main market square, the Barbican and St John’s Cathedral, before ending at the Royal Castle.  Krakow is your second Polish destination and you spend four nights here in the 4* Hotel Pod Roza, the city’s first hotel which dates back to the 14th century.  Your first full day in Krakow includes an individual guided tour of the city, visting sights such as St Mary’s Church and Wawel Hill.  Your tour of Poland’s major cities concludes with a night in Berlin at the 4* Hotel Residenz, before travelling onwards to Cologne for a final night at the 5* Dom Hotel, giving you the opportunity to reflect on your holiday before returning on the Eurostar to London
